New Beginning

Scarlet waves thrash a battered shore
The sky above me shows no mercy
I am lost in a place that is lost within me
I beg the mighty gods for forgivness
Angels begin to dance with the sun
Demons melt back into the night sky
Tomorrow comes in a wave of gray
Will I be found tomorrow?
Because it is here I refuse to stay
I feel a pain in my heart
It's digging further into my soul
I just want to be free

but it's hard to find the door
Scarlet waves thrash a dying shore

Time to let go and hold on no more

Hearing the music, my light starts to grow
To each end a new beginning

Placing my trust in the flow
Beneath the soil, new life is forming
