Losing You

Our friendship melted as fast as snow on a humid day.
I didn't see you turn away, but I felt it.
You didn't want to talk things through.
You left me but I never left you.
Each and everyday, I'm going to miss you.
We used to be hooked on everything we said.
Now I'm too hurt for a tear to even be shed.
All the times we laughed,
All the times we cried.
Now all along I think you just lied.
Countless times we were there for eachother,
I still can't believe at all ended this summer.
You are gone, a part of me is too.
It's going to be so hard to try to forget you.
You let everything go so fast.
You said our friendship would always last.
I guess I'll just be a part of your past.
But I know one day I'll pull through.
After all, you left me, and I never left you.
