Standing in a forest of hatred.
Sacrificing your heart to the sky.
Drowning in an ocean of despair.
Remind yourself your best friend is you.
Eyes are shielded by the clouds of life.
Guided by your icy cold innocence.
Days faded into a deep slumber.
Shadows cover your body.
The more you know
The harder it is.
Surviving the frigid waters of the unknown.
By yourself you cry,
Never knowing who you are.
When the end comes there you stand
Hand in hand with the knowing spirit.
The frozen touch of the heavens
Reaching towards the hardened ground.
You disappear into the blowing wind
Reborn into the light of safety.
